Named for the Calusa Native Americans who lived on Florida’s Gulf Coast, Calusa’s brews honor the fierce people who respected not only the water but Florida’s natural resources. We recently visited the brewery to try out some of the delicious beers we have been hearing about around town. Upon arrival we were given the tour of the brewing facility as well as the taproom which is lined with barrels of aging beers. You can look through the large windows in the back of the taproom and see where your beer was.
Our host Jesse Sage tried a variety of their flagship beers including Citronious (citra IPA) & Nitro Dissonance (coffee & cinn brown ale).
The team at Calusa also just celebrated the first bottling of their beer which was “Citronious” their popular citra IPA. As we have said previously, we are huge fans of great label designs and their bottles were on point! ?
