Hawaiian Fried Chicken & Japanese Whiskey

I didn’t think fried chicken could get any better until I was introduced to this recipe. You can’t really go too wrong dunking battered chicken in any dip before frying it & then dipping it again after….?My girlfriend, Jesse, first made this recipe for me after she returned from a trip to Hawaii.

I am a whiskey fan so I thought that having a glass of Nikka Whiskey would be a great compliment to this meal. It has a nice smoky/peaty flavor to compliment the chicken and soy sauce flavors.

Thanks to Jesse Sage for being my hand model & to Daniel Schulman for editing the video.
