Hey everyone and thanks for taking the time to join me for a little beach break. One of my favorite beach spots is on Lido Key, a small barrier island off the coast of Sarasota, Florida. Living here you can sometimes get caught up in your daily routine and forget that we leave in a tropical paradise. That being said, Jesse and I decided to take a mid-week beach day and head to Lido Key to relax and soak up the sun.
We started by driving through St. Armands circle, a hub of upscale restaurants and shops. We rolled down our window to feel the breeze and so we could smell all of the delicious foods cooking from nearby restaurants like Columbia, Tommy Bahamas, & one of my favorites, Kilwins Ice Cream.
We made our way towards Lido Key beach in search of some decent parking, preferably shaded, but anything would do because it was getting crowded. We found a spot near the public beach & setup our area to lay out and catch some sun rays. I brought my camera along and made a short vlog of the rest of our trip!
Let me know in the comments if you have ever been to Lido Key before? Also scroll below the video to see more photos of Lido Key & St. Armands Circle.
