We had the chance to try Kavalan Ex-Bourbon Oak, a pale golden Taiwanese whiskey that is light-bodied with hints of coconut, vanilla, and oak spices. Kavalan was the first distillery to open in Taiwan as well as being the first family owned distillery. The pure water and fresh air make this subtropical island the ideal environment for the production of whisky.
